Weekend Leadership Roles

Volunteers are led by experienced people who serve in various volunteer capacities.
Weekend Team Leader
Under Christ, the leader of the Weekend, selected by the Advisory Council and approved by the State Chapter, prepares the Team according to the Kairos Method and guidelines provided by the ministry.Advising Leader
Served as Leader of the previous Weekend, and is available to the leader as needed. Any former Leader may be asked to fill this position if necessary.Agape Coordinator
Is responsible for the solicitation, coordination and preparation of all Agape, handouts for talks, prayer vigils, coordination of the inside Prayer Team, letters and special needs of the Weekend. Closing Coordinator
Promotes the Closing Ceremony of the Kairos Weekend and encourage visitors to attend.Operational Team Leader
Responsible for overseeing the procurement and preparation of food for all Team Meals as well as those meals sent inside the prison during the Weekend. Supervised and directs the work of the Support Team which includes insuring all materials and supplies are available to the Inside Team to make the Weekend successful.Inside Coordinator
Serves as the ONLY liaison between the Team and the institution's staff during the Weekend, and is responsible for coordinating the logistics of the Weekend. This responsibility ends when the weekend ends.Music Leader
Leads the music during Team Formation meetings and the Weekend and works closely with the Leader in planning songs that enhance the Team Formation process and Weekend schedule.Family Table Leader
Facilitates the family discussions and activities following the talks, encouraging Participants to participate.Assistant Family Table Leader
Assists the Family Table Leader as necessary.
Observing Leader
Serves as the Kairos Leader on the next Kairos Weekend and observes the entire process of leading a Weekend. Has the specific responsibility of keeping time so the schedule is followed, and of making announcements during the Weekend.Head Servant
Assists the Inside Coordinator as needed during the Weekend. Trains and supervises the assignments for the Kairos Graduate Servants.Chapel Coordinator
Prepares the chapel and insures that all chapel participants are aware of their chapel reading assignments.
Family Table Clergy
Assists the family team members in building community in the family.
